You Capture- Everyday

Everyday is filled with highs and lows, but all those moments are memories that I want to hold on to and never forget.
Everyday 1
The moments after the tornado has flown through the living room. Where I smile and laugh because he is enjoying the moment. The laugh and we start to pick it up just for it to happen again.
everyday 2
Those moments in the kitchen where, I am lost at what to fix to feed my family. Watching Ian grow and learn while I fix the food that nourishes his body, he nourishes my soul. Then I look above the sink that “Life is good, but why can’t it be simpler?” how true are those words.
everyday3
Everyday, he gets braver and wanders a little farther away. Taking my heart with him as he runs away. Everyday he always returns to snuggle with mama on the couch, bed head and all.
everyday4
Everyday this boys steal another piece of my heart, even though they already have all of it.

This week Beth chose America as the theme, being that this past weekend was the Fourth of July it wasn’t to hard. Still figuring out things that represent america to me with out being to obvious was tougher then I thought. I was sad that I didn’t get a chance to photograph a small town rodeo, to me that is what is really means America to me. With out that as a choice, I am just took my favorite moments from this weekend.

Everywhere You Look

Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry, choose shapes as this weeks theme. I haven’t joined in quiet a while, but this week I loved the idea of capturing shapes and all the ways that presented it’s self.

I loved the way the sun through the window fell across FootFoot.

This weeks theme is Fall. This is past week fall is arriving full force in Texas and I can’t remember the last time I remember the last time we had a really fall that last longer then a week.  Fall to me means open doors and windows, leaves changing, being outside, and beautiful things (weeds).

Next week the challenge is red, wish me luck as I wonder what to photograph.

The theme this week is happiness and as it is also international babywearing week. I thought that I would post pictures that make me feel happy. Casey actually took these pictures yesterday while we were at wal-mart getting Ian some formula. Yes before you ask those are mittens on the top of the hat. We saw that they had winter hats out and let Ian pick his out for this winter, so of course I stuck it on his head. Since he picked the one Casey thought was ugly.

PhotobucketThis week’s theme is Macro (super close). This was harder then you think. I took so many pictures this week and hardly any of them came out the way I would have wanted. I had some cool mistakes, and trying to decide if I should post one of those or try to get an awesome non-mistake. Then I decided that some mistakes are meant to be made (taken). That they actually turn in to the best surprises (Ian). So here are some of my best mistakes for this you capture (not in life those are for another post).

Ian’s Tries His Hand Photography

This is Ian’s first photography, he took it the other day when I happened to be filming him and his Daddy on our other camera. I hope all enjoy.

Next week is Macro, so wish me luck.

This weeks you capture theme is old signs. I can’t remember which bar on Northgate this sign hangs in but If I had to guess I would say it hangs in the chicken. I spent enough time in those bars I should be able to tell but it has been a few years. Sorry Patrick I cropped you out. Next weeks theme is to photograph something you have never photographed before so wish me luck and see you next week.

Motion is this week’s theme. We were a the art museum a few weeks ago and my friend captured this amazing picture of me. It is probably my favorite of the whole day, we made our own art.
