Never Been Truer.

Crazy Bitches

I miss home and my friends. I really hope that in two years, he is in a place to get out and we can be stable. I miss Texas, I want to go home everyday. I knew that my friends and family were amazing. Living 12 hours away, I have cemented this knowledge…..

Goodbye Texas, Hello Colorado

loadeddown
Our poor car was so loaded down.

That doesn’t mean that I am changing my name by any means, you can take the girl out of Texas but can’t take the Texas out of her. As our military life is taking us on the this new adventure, we have had some trials so far. Like 3 weeks of no furniture.

I have to give the boys all kind of credit, they have been taking all the changes with stride. FootFoot did amazing on the ride which surprised me, she isn’t the best at riding in the car.

We got our house all set up and I am really liking the layout. Who would like to see the finished product through a photo tour?

Lost my blogging mojo

When C left earlier this year, I went into survival mode. I didn’t do well at first, this wasn’t especially easy for me. He is home now, we completed our first permeant change of station. So technically I am no longer living in Texas but you can take the girl out of Texas but not the Texas out of the girl. Through all this I have lost my bloggy mojo. I have the words in my mind and heart, but they aren’t find the way out of my fingers. I want to write, it makes me feel happier. How do I dive back in when I am so out of sorts.

If you would like to see our Colorado Home please take a tour of our empty home.

Would anyone be interested seeing how I decorated?

Goodbye Texas

Hello Colorado. Now we wait for paper orders so that I we can start the process of getting on the wait list for housing. I am not going to lie, I am so happy to be staying CONUS. There won’t be any huge hoops to jump through to take FootFoot. I guess we will be buying real coats next winter.

Now comes the headache, we will be moving during the busy season for PCSing. I have no idea what to expect, I am a bit scared. If you have any tips, tricks, or advice; please share with this girl.

I have never lived anywhere outside of Texas and most of it has been in the D/FW metroplex. So this is going to be a system shock to this Texan. Maybe Colorado has all four seasons?
