The weekend here in the Gregory household was peaceful. We are working on starting to pack, yes that is right we are moving the weekend before halloween. We are moving closer to Casey’s work, he will be able to walk to work if he wanted, if he had a bike I know he would bike to work it is that close. It is the nicest of apartments but we are getting a place 500 square feet bigger and less rent then we pay now. I don’t know why everything is so much higher here in Plano. I love the fact that the breakfast area is a sunroom. Other then packing we have started gathering clothes for Ian to have this winter, we didn’t get a whole lot of stuff at the showers unlike some people I know who got clothes to dress their kids through their first year. So we went to Target and Wal-Mart. I was disappointed in the selection at our local Wal-Mart. They hadn’t even started to put out the fall/winter clothes for 12 month or smaller clothes, yet above that size everything was out. When I asked why the girl I asked didn’t even speak enough english to understand my question. Casey disagrees and says that she was just stupid. So on we went to our local Target the one on this side of Plano is not a super Target. We found the selection there a little better, they at least had clothes in Ian’s size (I know the selection was smaller due to the store size). The best find was a shirt that won’t fit Ian for a while but we had to have it, a Smurf’s shirt for only $4. Sunday was spent cleaning and packing. I hate moving but you do what you got to do when you only have one car. At least we have started packing early. Also if you live in the metroplex and can help us move, we will glad accept your help. Here is a picture of our floorplan.
Oooh, I love the set up of this apt!

We have 3 walmarts here, and every one carries different stuff. It frustrates me because the one that usually carries what I need/want is the furthest.I love Target though, theyre always in stock.Good luck on the move. Saving money on gas is always a good thing

I've never heard of a separate breakfast area. It sounds wonderful! All the best with getting ready for the move.

I'm so with you on the whole hating moving…it really just sucks no if's and's or but's about it! But at least you aren't waiting until the last minute to pack. Your new place looks great. Lots of room & that's awesome that it's a bigger place & less expensive than what you pay now.

Ooh! I love the layout! Is it one level? I wish, wish, wish we had a one-level place. So much easier on kids, so much more room for them, and you don't feel like you're on top of one another all the time. Enjoy and good luck with the move!

Moving sucks, but looks like it is going to be totally worth it! That's happy!!Have you checked out consignment shops for clothes for Ian (or even yourself??). They have awesome deals, and only take stuff in good condition. I have found so many outfits for Callie that have either never been worn, or hardly worn at all, and this is the time that they put out the warmer clothes. I so know what you mean about Wal-Mart, though. For a second, I thought you were talking about the one we have here.
