Top 10 Reasons I am Excited to Stay Home with My Family this Coming Weekend.

Well Since I won’t be attending BlogHer ’09 this weekend. I have decide to make the best of it by reminding my self why I love being at home this weekend. While doing this I will be entering Cozi‘s contest for mom’s who didn’t get to go to Shy Town for the festivity’s. With no further ado,

My Top Ten Reasons for being happy to be at home this weekend:

  1. My FIL is coming to visit and I get to see him with his grandson that adores him.
  2. Getting to sleep in as long as little Ian allows beside my loving husband.
  3. I will have a clean house since my FIL is visiting.
  4. Getting to sleep in bed with my fur baby every night, FootFoot is the best foot warmer ever.
  5. Getting all my list switched over to my Cozi page.
  6. My own bathroom ( public bathrooms freak me out including hotel bathrooms)
  7. Getting to cook instead of eating out so that I can make healthier foods.
  8. Not having to pack (does anybody else find this as stressful as I do?).
  9. The 30 Day challenge isn’t over til Saturday.
  10. Maybe finally getting all the laundry finished (who am I kidding).

To all of my readers out there please help me out and comment that is how they are picking winners.

  2. I completely agree with the bathroom and with the packing. What kind of stress do we put ourselves through for that? So true! Great to spend time with family and isn't the clean house wonderful? It does change my mood… I think… hasn't happened lately! πŸ™‚

  3. I honestly don't mind the packing but I really don't like the unpacking…blech!I am so there on the public bathrooms. I used to avoid them whenever possible but when I was pregnant, well, I was in there every two seconds….still don't like 'em though. Have a lovely weekend!

  4. Haha, cleaning house because your MIL is coming over? Nah, not me. hehePublic bathrooms kinda freak me out too, so I can see that. I wish I could have gone to Blogher, but until verrry recently, I didn't even know what it was! I finally figured it out when I started seeing all the tweets about it. I wouldn't have been able to go this time though, cuz we have an important family event happening tomorrow I couldn't possibly miss. Good luck!

  5. Great list…the disadvantage of traveling away from your home and family is coming back to a house that wasn't kept 'your way!'

  6. Bonjour, Bobbi Janay! Okay, I'm with you on all of that except for the packing part. I love packing, and I know that makes me a freak. Maybe because I love love love traveling, but packing is always exciting to me. I did, however, make a general packing list a few years ago that I keep in my computer and just tweak for each trip. I used to travel a lot for business, and that really cut down on a lot of last-minute frustration.I'm with you on the sleeping late, though.Hope we can both make it to BlogHer next year!Good luck!Salut,Marjorie

  7. That is a great list. One good thing being so plugges in and how open that conference in you will be able to experience some of the things they have going on! Enjoy the time!

  8. Packing definitely is frustrating, but even moreso for me is unpacking. I hate unpacking and have even been known to not unpack for a good week after I've returned home, which adds to that whole never having all of the laundry done thing!

  9. Alright.. I have to agree with the bathroom one.. there really is nothing worse than having to go #2 and you're away from home.. Besides that, my system gets all messed up when I'm away from home and I don't sleep well when not in my own bed.. Oy, I'm a whiner..

  12. I did not go…too busy and I knew it. I already went last month to Chicago for WordCamp, and driving 4 and a half hours is not always fun. That is a good list. I have my son with me this weekend, so that would have been my big reason if I would have made a list…lol

  15. You may have noticed I hardly said anything about the bedroom. That's because it's just a ridiculous mess right now! But I'm going to work on that too.
